Prep Prizegiving

On Monday, 5 July Prep Prizegiving took place in a grand marquee on the South Lawn. Despite Covid restrictions and unsettled weather, this was a wonderful event to celebrate the many successes of our Prep School students over the course of the past year. 

As well as a moving review of the year by the Headmistress, we were treated to some wonderful musical entertainment, overseen by Mr Dallimore, including a fantastic rendition of 'When the Saints go Marching' by the Strood Players, a sea shanty and a beautiful traditional South African song.

Students in Reception enjoyed a well-deserved First Year of School Celebration, before the Prizegiving began. A Class Prize and Progress Prize was awarded for each class, followed by Academic Awards, Creative & Performing Arts Awards and Character Awards. 

The whole event was live streamed to families at home so that nobody missed out on the fun, and everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon. Congratulations to all our hardworking Prep students, we are so proud of you all!
