Studying at Farlington Language School
Our Easter, Summer and Half-Term courses are focused on preparing international students for further study in the UK and overseas. Attending a course at Farlington Language School is an excellent way to prepare should you wish to subsequently apply for a place on Farlington's Pre A-Level course (for which entry requirements are higher).
At Farlington Language School, students will study a minimum of four hours of English language per day, appropriate to their age and level.
Modules will include:
- Everyday English - drama, role play and literature
- Academic English/curriculum-support English - relevant to academic subject areas
- English language around the culture of the UK (both modern and historic)
In addition, each course will include two elective activity sessions per day. At the start of each week, Language School students will select an activity for each day from the following list:
Art | Enjoy drawing and painting with expert tuition in our beautiful art studio |
Badminton | Daily badminton sessions offered in our sports hall |

Trips & Visits
During a stay at Farlington Language School, we want students to experience different parts of the UK. We will therefore run day trips during the weekend, to enhance students' experience - examples include a day trip to Brighton on the coast, and a trip to London on the train.
During the week, trips to Horsham (our local town) and a local historic house (as part of a cultural study) can also be expected.
