Co-ed boarding in the Sussex countryside

At Farlington School near Horsham in West Sussex, boarders can expect an exceptional education and a true 'home from home'.

Nestled in 33 acres of beautiful parkland on the West Sussex/Surrey border, and within easy reach of London, Farlington is a warm, welcoming and truly unique co-educational independent school and nursery for children aged 6 months to 18 years.

Located a few miles outside the market town of Horsham, we are the only co-educational independent all-through school in the area. Boarding is offered from Year 7 (age 11) upwards, with full, weekly and flexi options available. Our friendly Boarding House offers students a true 'home from home', and our kind and caring staff do everything they can to ensure that every pupil's time here is a happy one.

Our aim is to instil a long-lasting love of learning. We stretch the most able and support the least confident, so that each student fulfils his or her individual academic potential. We are a forward-thinking school where academic success and co-curricular achievement are valued equally, and our most recent Independent Schools Inspectorate report described Farlington as providing ‘an excellent curriculum with outstanding teaching’. Our fees are extremely competitive; for more information, please visit our Fee Information page.
