Summer success for the Farlington Riding Team

Equine America Eventers Challenge Championships at Hickstead, 29-31 May

The Farlington Riding Team had a fantastic weekend at Hickstead at the end of May. The team took 5th place in the 80 JWS Finals, with Ellie (pictured below) winning 2nd individually in the 70cm, out of 128 starters! 

Lucia (Year 13 student and Games Captain) qualified for the Nationals at Addington in October, after coming 3rd out of 60 riders in the 1m class, in one of the last few qualifiers she will ride for the Farlington Riding Team. 

Grassroots Showjumping at Felbridge, 12-13 June

More brilliant results followed for the Farlington team at Felbridge on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 June, with some great individual performances and a brilliant team effort on what was a very hot weekend!

GR 40cm: Zara (pictured below) came 2nd, qualifying for the Grassroots Regional Championships as an individual

GR 60cm: The Farlington Team came 3rd and are off to the Grassroots Regional Championships

GR 70cm: Farlington came 2nd overall - watch out Regionals!

SJQ 70cm: Darcey lead the charge in the main ring with a great clear round

SJQ 80cm: Farlington came 7th, qualifying for the Plate Championships, with clear rounds from Anna and Darcey as individuals

SJQ 90cm: Anna had a great clear round and came individual 6th, qualifying for the Plate Championships. The team came 3rd, also qualifying for the Plates. Clear rounds from Iona and Ellie!

JWS 1m: Lucia, the sole representative for Farlington on Sunday, continued flying the flag and came 7th individual, qualifying for the Plate Championships

JWS 1.1m: Lucia, again with a great style score, came 4th individually
