Our budding Year 7 scientists, who meet with Mr Snewin every Wednesday lunchtime for Science Club, have had lots of fun this term with activities including making their own glue and fire writing.

After making glue, the Year 7s set about testing different types. In a face-off between Egyptian and Roman glues, masses were added to test their respective strengths until they gave way. Both held 9kg, and in fact the paper broke before the glue!

On another occasion, our Science Club stars created some fantastic designs in filter paper using fire writing, before using pH painting to design backgrounds.
