3 October 2021

Sunday, 3rd October saw the return of Farlington riding shows, with the school hosting its first riding event since October 2019. Our riding parents pulled together under the leadership of Elaine Stephenson and put on a fabulous grassroots show at Sands Farm in Warnham. 20 schools took part in this National Schools Equestrian Association (NSEA) qualifying event. There were over 80 entries, and five classes of showjumping from 40cm-70cm, with a pairs event thrown in for a little bit of fun.

In class 4 (60cm), the Farlington Riding Team came an impressive 4th, all qualifying for the Grassroots Championships. Well done to all of our fantastic riders!

The Riding Team and our extremely supportive parents are now busy with other events and looking forward to the Plate Championships, to be held at Keysoe International in Bedfordshire in November. The next big event hosted by the school will be the Farlington Show at Merrist Wood in February.
