World Book Day fun
BackWe had so much fun celebrating World Book Day here at Farlington this year, with costumes galore amongst students and staff.
Lower School students were also treated to a range of fantastic drama sessions courtesy of the brilliant Bethan from Perform drama school, who joined us for the day.
The Reception children enjoyed a Julia Donaldson-themed session, which was followed by a workshop based on 'The Lighthouse Keeper's Lunch' for Year 1, who have been studying this lovely book this term. Next it was the turn of Year 4, whose session was based on Roald Dahl's 'James and the Giant Peach'. After lunch there was more Roald Dahl fun, with a workshop based on 'George's Marvellous Medicine' for Year 2. Finally, Year 3 enjoyed an Egyptians-themed session.
Huge thanks to Bethan from Perform for such a fun-filled day!
