Thanks to our new two-week timetable and revised timings of the school day, it's not just pupils in Reception to Year 2 who can enjoy Forest School sessions; since September 2022, pupils in Years 3 to 6 have also been able to take part in Forest School during the week!

Our wonderful Forest School Leader, Mrs Barkway-Harney, never fails to wow the pupils with her knowledge of the great outdoors, and the children experience a plethora of activities during their Forest School sessions. So far this term, the Forest School fun has included pond dipping, fire lighting, sawing, den building and fossil hunting.

Years 5 and 6 have also been working on some beautiful 'nature art' - foraging for
berries to mash up and use as paint, and using brushes and natural objects such as sticks, feathers and leaves to paint with.

What will they get up to next?
