Carol Service at St Mary's Church

Members of Farlington’s school community wrapped up warmly and came together last night for the annual Farlington Carol Service at St Mary's Church in Horsham.

Our Carol Service is certainly a highlight of the Farlington year, and this year we were delighted to be joined by the Junior Choir, as well as many talented musicians from the Middle School and Senior School.

The Junior Choir performed a magnificent rendition of John Lennon’s So This Is Christmas (War Is Over) with the Senior Ukulele Club, and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing with the Middle School Choir.

Our Middle School Choir also sang Silent Night beautifully, and we enjoyed superb performances by the Flute Choir and Telemann Strings.

Senior Voices treated us to fabulous renditions of Jesus Christ The Apple Tree; Lully, Lulla, Lullay, and White Winter Hymnal, while the A Cappella Choir performed Kelly Clarkson's Underneath The Tree, which was an absolute joy to hear!

We were hugely impressed with the various readings delivered during the evening by members of the Middle School and Senior School. The students read confidently and clearly, and did themselves proud.

Many congratulations to all those involved in this wonderful event, and especially to Mr Evans and Miss Nimmo for organising such a fantastic evening, which really put us in the Christmas mood.
