Farlington Family Fun Day

Our third annual Family Fun Day took place on Sunday, May 19th and was another great success! Our Wellbeing Centre had its official opening, with Alicia Drummond of teen wellbeing website, Teen Tips, cutting the ribbon and unveiling the new sign, commemorating the date of the opening and the official handover of the cabin from the PTA to the school.

The weather cooperated with glorious sunshine all day, and families enjoyed a BBQ provided by Thomas Franks, our school caterer, an ice-cream van, and our PTA volunteers manned the busy bar! Musical entertainment was provided by drumming teacher, Mr Gellibrand’s fantastic band, with some support by our musical Farlington students, of all ages!

The children enjoyed the entertainment, including the balloon modelling, bouncy castle and laser tag and the day was finished off with a joyful family colour run, leaving everyone covered in beautiful, bright colours, but most importantly with big smiles on their faces!
